Message from Kristine
“It is important during tough times in life to have someone you can trust and someone who is fighting for your best interests.
As a person who had close family members travel through the divorce process, I am very familiar with what it is like to experience all the issues related to the journey.
Whether you need help with a custody dispute, a post-final divorce order modification, an alimony change, or beginning the divorce journey, I will guide you through the legal steps.
It would be my privilege to help get you started on your journey to a new life.”
Kristine Jones has lived all across the state of Alabama.
She attended high school in and around the Birmingham area and later enrolled in college at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
At UAH, she participated in many on-campus activities including:
- Leadership roles in her social sorority
- President of the Student Alumni Association
- Working with the Office of the President of the university
From Huntsville, she made her way to Auburn University and obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
While at Auburn, Kristine continued to stay active as:
- A senator in the Student Government Association representing all graduate students
- A member of the code of laws committee

After graduation from Auburn, she attended law school at the Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in the great city of Montgomery.
She was a member of the Dean’s List, member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, and an elected chairman of the Student Bar Association.
In law school, Kristine focused her coursework on building the necessary skills to help clients and be successful in the practice of law.
She attended trial advocacy classes, mediation and arbitration courses, case preparation courses, and of course, developed a more profound passion for family law through participation in the family violence clinic where she helped clients prepare their case for hearing.
Kristine is a proud Judge Advocate officer in the Alabama Army National Guard. Helping military service members navigate the family court system is near and dear to her heart.
